How are the online courses of All Electron organized? You can read it here, or you can scroll down to the video that provides an explanation.
Learning paths, modules and sections
Our courses follow a generic setup, called a learning path. A learning path consists of different modules. We always start with a short module to get to know you a bit, and we end with a short evaluation, to allow you to provide feedback to us.
The actual content can be found in one or more modules. These modules always have a similar structure, being:
- An introduction, to explain the applicability of the course to you
- One or more sections for specific topics. In these sections you will find detailed information, tools for calculation and references to literature.
- And a final section to test your knowledge. Your grade will be based on the answers that you provide here.
Test questions
Throughout the modules you will be asked questions. These test questions are used to stimulate dialogue so that you will remember and understand the information in a better way. These test questions will not be part of your final grade.
In order to finish the course successfully, the grade shall be 70% or higher. If you don’t pass in one time, you will have the opportunity for one resit. Then, after finishing the course, you will receive a certificate. Once received, don’t forget to update your resume!
