Module D01
In this online course you’ll learn about the current carrying capacity of conductors in an overhead line. You will calculate values based on different environmental parameters and see what influence they have on the result.
Module D02
In this online course you’ll learn about the application of Dynamic Line Rating in transmission lines. What is DLR? How is it applied? And what are the benefits of this technique?

Six Excel tools are made available:
- Ampacity (flexible conductor) analysis tool – IEC 61597 method;
- Ampacity (flexible conductor) analysis tool – Cigre TB601 method;
- Ampacity (flexible conductor) analysis tool – guide IEEE 738 method;
- Adiabatic temperature calculation tool;
- Ampacity (rigid conductor) analysis tool;
- Sag calculation tool in excel;
Prerequisites for the use of the tools: Office Excel shall be installed. If the user wants to extend or change the tool experience with Excel will be necessary.
